Appearance It occurs as white, odorless powder having a faintly sweet taste.

Solubility Soluble in dilute mineral acids and in solutions of fixed alkalies; insoluble in water and in organic solvents.
pH Between 6.5 and 7.5

Isopropyl alcohol Specified test. No red color is produced.
Nitrogen Between 9.90% and 10.60%
Residual Solvents Meets the requirements
Assay Not less than 94.0% and not more than 102.0% (of dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate) calculated on the dried basis.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
