Potassium Carbonate is used for soap, glass and china production. It is also used as a mild drying agent, in cuisine as an ingredient in the production of grass jelly, in the production of cocoa powder, as a buffering agent in the production of mead or wine, for softening hard water, as a fire suppressant, in condensed aerosol fire suppression, as an ingredient in welding fluxes and as an animal feed ingredient.
